General description Owaphos is a rust remover and passivator designed for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as galvanised and zinc-coated surfaces. It effectively prepares new metal surfaces for painting by creating a fine coat of oxide that enhances adhesion, eliminating the need for sanding. Technical specifications Volume: 1 Litre Coverage: 10 to 12 m² (107 to 129 ft²) per litre Application temperature: Between 5°C (41°F) and 30°C (86°F) Installation Surface must be clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, and other contaminants. Clean the surface with Pura-Trol, Soapclean, or a suitable solvent (e.g., Acetone) and allow it to dry. Usage For new metal surfaces: Apply undiluted Owaphos and allow it to work for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
