Check your disc before you buy: the 7mm pin fits many disc brakes, but it needs a vent hole it can pass through and room for the lock body beside the caliper. Measure your disc first to be sure it fits your bike. Reminder cable included: loop the bright yellow 1.5m cable from the lock to your handlebar so you see it before you ride. Setting off with the lock still fitted can damage your brakes and forks and may cause a fall. Push to lock, replaceable keys: the lock closes with a single push, so no key is needed to lock it. Note your key number and keep it safe: the key replacement service can make you another key if you ever lose all your keys. Keyway cover and battery care: a water-resistant cover keeps rain and grit out of the keyway, and a lithium CR2 battery powers the alarm. Check the battery date when you unbox it and keep a spare CR2 through winter.
