Pack of 5 Harris Coarse Grade Prime Pads for Mk 3 Vinbrite

Coarse Grade Pre-treatment (Priming) Pads come in a pack of five and are designed to be used before filtering with Vinbrite, Crystalbrite, or Filtabrite pads. They remove larger solids and colloidal particles to enhance the overall performance of the filter system, prolong the life of finer filter pads, and increase their flow rate. Prime Pads can also be used to filter a spirit wash prior to distillation, providing pre-treatment to improve filtration efficiency without claiming to clarify on their own.

Usage

Each pack contains 5 coarse grade pre-treatment pads for use with the Vinbrite Mk3 Filter. They are designed to remove larger solids and colloidal particles before the main filtration step, helping to improve flow through Crystalbrite or Filtabrite pads and to extend the life of finer pads. These pads are pre-treatment and will not by themselves clear a wine; they simply prepare the liquid for filtration. Prime Pads can also be used to filter a spirit wash prior to distillation.
