Tamiya Military Model Kit Tamiya German 37mm Anti-tank (1/35) 35035 This 1/35 scale Tamiya model kit recreates the German 3.7cm Pak 35/36 anti-tank gun, developed by Rheinmetall and introduced in 1935 as the standard divisional anti-tank weapon. Light and manoeuvrable at 450kg, it featured rubber-tired wheels, torsion bar suspension, and could be operated by a small crew. With a muzzle velocity of 762m/s, it could penetrate 48mm of armour at 457 metres, making it a formidable weapon in the early stages of WWII. 1/35 scale precision-moulded plastic model kit Accurate replication of the Pak 35/36 with detailed components Includes gun shield, breech, and traverse/elevation controls Historically accurate crew positions and layout Perfect for early WWII German diorama settings The Pak 35/36 became a symbol of Germany’s rapid early-war offensives, influencing anti-tank gun development in the Soviet Union, United States, and Japan. Its light weight and ease of deployment made it a key support weapon until replaced by heavier-calibre guns later in the war.
