Padea dimmable LED house number light with ZigBee-based twilight and motion sensor, warm CCT One house number, many functions: The Padea LED house number light, which comes with a set of numbers and letters for customisation, is made of plastic and is splash-proof. The integrated twilight sensor automatically switches Padea on at dusk and off again at dawn. By default, it illuminates at 20 per cent with a pleasant, warm white colour temperature. The motion sensor, which is also included, causes the light to shine at 100 per cent for 30 seconds when movement is detected. The light emits light with a low colour temperature of 2,200 K. This colour temperature complies with recommendations from professional associations and scientific studies aimed at reducing the attractiveness of artificial lighting to many nocturnal insects. Integrating the Padea into a smart home system opens up many further possibilities. For example, the brightness is dimmable, and the warm white colour temperature can be adjusted freely within the warm white range. It can also be conveniently controlled via a smartphone. Paulmann offers the smik gateway as a smart home bridge, which can be purchased separately as an accessory. An app for Android and iOS is available free of charge here. It is compatible with Amazon Alexa, thereby also enabling voice control. Alternatively, it can be used with ZigBee-enabled smart home systems from other manufacturers. With smart home handheld transmitters, such as Paulmann’s Gent remote control – also available as an accessory – it can also be operated entirely without a bridge.
