The smik gateway including a free app for iOS and Android is available from Paulmann itself for this purpose (see accessories). As Aptare uses the ZigBee 3.0 wireless protocol, it can also be integrated into an existing smart home system from other manufacturers, such as Philips Hue or IKEA Tradfri. The included remote control can be used to control up to 20 ZigBee-compatible lights or bulbs, also divided into groups.
