It is not translucent and, when used in pendants, allows targeted downward lighting. It can be optimally equipped with the range of teardrop bulbs. When used as a spot, the wide beam but directional light outlet provides a good way of creating light and shadow zones in the room, with the light zones being evenly illuminated.
