Penderyn Legend is a no-age-statement single malt Welsh whisky matured initially in American oak bourbon barrels before a secondary finish in ex-Madeira casks. Bottled at 40 % ABV in a 70 cl presentation, this expression is non-chill-filtered, carries a Kosher certificate, and forms part of the Dragon range’s recent packaging update—now featuring a lighter bottle and reduced-weight carton for enhanced sustainability. TASTING NOTES – Nose, Aromas of fresh apples and bright citrus fruits intermingle with rich cream fudge and sun-dried sultana raisins, creating a complex yet clean and well-balanced introduction to this Madeira-finished malt. TASTING NOTES – Palate, incredibly smooth, unveiling layers of succulent dried fruits—sultanas and apricots—with delicate sweetness balanced by a whisper of gentle bitterness that keeps each sip refreshing. SERVE - Best enjoyed neat in a tulip-shaped or Glencairn glass at room temperature to fully appreciate its layered aromas and flavours.
