The Penn Mag4 Star Drag is a top performance reel designed for casting long distances along the coast. The Mag 4 is perfect for bass fishing over rough bottom and beach fishing. Features include finger operated magnetic braking through the external knob, extra strong CNC gear technology and a free moving spool that rotates virtually without resistance. When the spool is in “free” position, you can cast over long distances easily and without problems. These reels have already gathered a large fan base and are extremely popular among sea anglers who go out to fish from beaches and rocks under all circumstances!
Note: This reel is right-handed. This means that you hold the rod in your left hand and turn the crank with your right.
