Pet Friend Algae Wafers 40g

TARGETED NUTRITION FOR SUCKER-MOUTH ALGAE GRAZERS: Formulated specifically for benthic herbivorous and omnivorous bottom feeders, including Bristlenose Plecos (Ancistrus), Common Plecostomus, Otocinclus, Whiptail Catfish, and grazing freshwater shrimp. Mimics the natural algae, biofilm, and micro-organisms rasping fish graze from submerged river wood and stones. FORTIFIED WITH SPIRULINA & SUSTAINABLE INSECT MEAL: Blends nutrient-dense Spirulina algae for immune health and vibrant skin patterns with bioavailable insect protein to replicate the aquatic larvae bottom-feeders naturally consume. Delivers an optimal balance of crude plant fibre and amino acids to support clean intestinal transit without digestive bloat. FAST-SINKING, DENSE 12MM WATER-STABLE DISCS: Calibrated sinking wafers drop straight to the substrate, bypassing fast-swimming surface and mid-water fish so bottom grazers can feed undisturbed. The high-density, cold-pressed discs soften gradually to accommodate natural rasping and scraping without disintegrating into fine mush. NON-CLOUDING, LOW-WASTE AQUARIUM FORMULA: Engineered to maintain structural integrity underwater for hours, ensuring uneaten portions do not break down into dusty green sediment or foul water chemistry. Helps maintain crystal clear water and eases biological and mechanical filter loads in community aquariums. FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS & AIRTIGHT 40G RESEALABLE PACK: Feed 1 to 2 times daily (ideally in the evening or after aquarium lights are turned off for nocturnal grazers). Offer only as many wafers as your bottom fish will consume within 1 to 2 hours. Packaged in an airtight, moisture-resistant pouch to keep wafers crisp, aromatic, and nutrient-dense.
