As the water runs from the top level to the lower bowl, it acts as a waterfall, while reducing splashing water and keeping the area around your pet's drinking fountain dry. It is particularly safe and has a quiet operating sound, as well as being easy to keep clean as the bowls can be removed and put in the dishwasher.
