The Philips Hue Sensor from Philips is perfect for anyone who wants to make their Hue lighting even more automatic. A motion sensor registers movement and light, meaning that it can execute commands when it registers movement, if daylight isn’t sufficient within a certain time period. During daylight: set a time period (from 8:00 to 23:00) and set the sensor to emit regular light if the daylight isn’t sufficient. This is ideal for midday thunderstorms. During the night: set the sensor to turn on “night mode”, which is a weak light turned on when the sensor registers movement in your set time period (from 23:00 to 8:00). You can also set the lamp to turn off automatically. When there’s no movement in the room the sensor is set up in, the lamp turns off. You set the time period before the lamp turns off and you can even adjust the sensitivity of the sensor to avoid the light turning off when it doesn’t need to. This Philips Hue product is designed for a 220-240 V electrical network and will not work in North America, Central America and parts of South America.
