Pinguin Tornado 3 Tent: Your Fortress for Hiking and Outdoor AdventuresDiscover the ultimate in stability and reliability with the Pinguin Tornado 3 tent, engineered for hikers and serious campers who demand a shelter that can withstand the elements. Designed to comfortably accommodate 3 to 4 people, this tent is the perfect choice for small groups or families seeking a spacious and secure basecamp on their trekking expeditions. Its exceptional design provides peace of mind, allowing you to focus on the adventure ahead. The standout feature of the Tornado 3 is its incredible structural integrity. Built on a proven cupola (dome) design, its framework boasts an impressive four-pole construction with five crossing points. This creates an extremely rigid and self-supporting structure that offers superior resistance to strong winds and adverse weather conditions, making it a highly reliable sanctuary when you need it most. Despite its robust build, the tent remains surprisingly easy to build, ensuring a quick and stress-free setup after a long day on the trail.Functionality is at the heart of the Tornado 3´s design. Featuring two separate entrances, it provides convenient access and exit for all occupants, eliminating the need to climb over gear or companions in the middle of the night. These dual entrances also promote excellent cross-ventilation, helping to manage condensation and maintain a comfortable internal climate. Flanking each entrance are spacious vestibules, offering ample room to store backpacks, muddy boots, and other gear outside the sleeping area. This keeps your inner tent clean, dry, and organized, maximizing living space and comfort.Versatility is a key benefit, as the Tornado 3 can be built without the inner bedroom. This allows you to use the flysheet and poles alone to create an ultralight, minimalist shelter, perfect for fast-and-light trips or as a communal gathering space, reducing the tent´s weight to just 3.9 kg. The generous internal height of 137 cm (128 cm in the bedroom) provides plenty of headroom for sitting up and moving around comfortably.Built for uncompromising weather protection, the Tornado 3 features a durable flysheet made from lightweight and solid Polyester with a 4.000 mm H2O polyurethane coating. This fabric offers high resistance to UV radiation, ensuring it does not age or degrade under prolonged exposure to sunlight and heat. The groundsheet is crafted from tough Nylon with an exceptional 10.000 mm H2O PU coating, providing a formidable barrier against ground moisture and wet terrain. To guarantee complete waterproofness, all seams are factory-taped, leaving no weak points for water to penetrate.Features:- Easy to build thanks to an intuitive and self-supporting dome structure.- High reliability in adverse conditions due to its multi-pole, five-crossing-point frame.- Two entrances for convenient access and superior ventilation.- Spacious vestibules on each side for ample gear and clothes storage.Specifications:- Weight: 4.95 kg- Weight without inner tent: 3.9 kg- Number of people: 3 - 4- Construction type: Cupola- Number of poles / crossing points: 4 / 5- Height of tent (bedroom): 137 (128) cm- Number of pins: 16Material:- Material of poles: Fiberglass- Pole diameter: 9.5 mm- Flysheet material: Polyester, PU coating 4000mm H2O- Groundsheet material: Nylon, PU coating 10000mm H2O. tradeinn Trekkinn
