This 22 year old Trinidad rum forms part of the Planteray Terraverra Collection and was distilled in 2003 from molasses using a column still. It spent 19 years ageing in ex-bourbon casks in Port of Spain before a further three years of continental maturation in Ferrand Cognac casks in France. The extended ageing brings depth and balance, revealing flavours of dried citrus peel, cacao and warming wood spices, alongside a subtle touch of burnt toffee Bottled with no added sugar or caramel, this release highlights the character of long-aged Trinidad rum.
