POC Fornix Helmet: Award-Winning Protection for Alpine SkiingDiscover the evolution of an icon with the POC Fornix helmet, a legendary choice for alpine skiing, now updated for an unparalleled experience on any part of the mountain. Engineered for both demanding backcountry expeditions and dynamic resort skiing, this helmet masterfully blends lightweight construction with robust, multi-impact protection. Its celebrated design provides the confidence you need to push your limits, from pristine powder fields to perfectly groomed pistes. The award-winning Fornix backcountry ski helmet is now updated for an improved experience anywhere on the mountain. At the heart of the Fornix´s protective capabilities is its intelligent design. Whether exploring the backcountry or staying closer to the resort, the helmet´s classic features including an aramid weave molded to the helmet liner give extra penetration protection. This advanced reinforcement acts like a structural skeleton, dispersing energy from sharp impacts across a wider surface area and preventing object penetration, all while keeping the overall weight incredibly low for all-day comfort.Featuring a remodelled interior, the new Fornix gives a more comfortable and secure fit than ever before - a fit that can be easily personalised using the 360° adjustment system. This highly intuitive system allows you to fine-tune the fit both vertically and circumferentially, wrapping your head securely without creating pressure points. The result is a helmet that feels like a natural extension of you, staying firmly in place through every turn, drop, and traverse.Master your microclimate with a ventilation system built for adaptability. Adjustable ventilation gives increased comfort in a wider variety of temperatures, and a fixed goggle clip enhances security. Easily slide the vents open during a strenuous hike or a warm spring day, and close them to retain warmth on a frigid chairlift ride. Furthermore, integrated goggle chimneys align perfectly with your POC goggles, allowing heat and moisture to escape, ensuring your vision remains crystal clear and fog-free. The fixed goggle clip provides peace of mind, locking your goggles securely to the helmet so you can focus on your line.Technical Specifications* Fit System: 360° adjustment system for a precise and secure fit.* Interior: Updated liner for improved fit and comfort.* Goggle Security: Fixed goggle clip for seamless integration and security.* Attribute: Without Lens. tradeinn Snowinn
