POLARPRO BaseCamp-VND Standard Filters KitElevate your filmmaking with the POLARPRO BaseCamp-VND Standard Filters Kit, the ultimate lightweight and professional matte box system designed for run-and-gun filmmakers, drone operators, and gimbal enthusiasts. This innovative system redefines on-location efficiency, providing complete creative control over your image without sacrificing speed or mobility. Engineered for the modern content creator, BaseCamp is the solution for achieving cinematic results in dynamic and unpredictable shooting environments. Say goodbye to the cumbersome process of swapping individual screw-on filters and embrace a workflow that keeps you focused on capturing the perfect shot. The core of the system is its revolutionary Variable Neutral Density (VND) filter, which allows for seamless 2-to-5 stop adjustments of light exposure. This is essential for videographers who need to maintain a consistent, cinematic shutter speed (like the 180-degree rule) while filming in changing daylight conditions. Whether moving from bright sun to open shade, you can instantly adapt your exposure with a simple, fluid adjustment, ensuring perfectly rendered motion blur in every frame. This single filter replaces a whole set of individual ND filters, drastically reducing the gear you need to carry and the time you spend setting up.Speed and ergonomics are at the forefront of the BaseCamp design. The entire system is built for toolless operation, allowing you to install the matte box and swap filters in seconds. The robust, precision-machined aluminium filter frames provide a secure, fingerprint-free grip for rapid handling, protecting your optics and accelerating your workflow. Its ultra-lightweight construction makes it the ideal matte box for aerial cinematography and gimbal use, placing minimal strain on motors and ensuring stable, fluid camera movements. Developed specifically for agility, the BaseCamp system empowers you to capture compelling footage without being weighed down.Beyond pure exposure control, this kit includes a high-quality Circular Polarizer (CP) filter to unlock a new level of creative potential. The CP filter is essential for managing reflections on non-metallic surfaces like water, glass, and foliage, and for dramatically enhancing colour and contrast. Use it to deepen the blue of the sky, enrich the greens in a landscape, and cut through atmospheric haze for a crisp, vibrant image. The BaseCamp system allows the CP filter to be used in conjunction with the VND, offering a powerful combination for total mastery over light and reflections.Features:- Water Repellent:No- Neutral Colour:No- Multi Coated:No- Information:Filter Set- Diameter (mm):77 / 82- Matte Box System- Specially developed for use in the air and for a gimbal- Toolless operation- Ideal for filmmakers- Aluminium filter frame, which simplifies handling and filter replacement- VND configuration allows full light control without changing filtersSet includes:- 1x Core- 1x Hood- 1x EVA Case- 1x Clamping ring- 1x 77 mm Threaded plate- 1x 82 mm Threaded plate- 1x VND 2-5 filter- 1x CP filter- 1x Core (including Hood and Case). tradeinn Techinn
