Elevate your creative vision and master the light with the PolarPro Chroma VND/PL 2-5 Stop Filter from the prestigious McKinnon Series. Engineered for discerning photographers and filmmakers using DSLR and mirrorless cameras, this professional-grade filter is a singular, powerful tool designed to deliver unparalleled optical performance and creative control. It masterfully combines two essential filters—a variable neutral density (VND) and a circular polarizer (CPL)—into one seamless unit, eliminating the need for filter stacking and reducing potential vignetting.Experience absolute control over your exposure with a versatile 2-5 stop range of light reduction. This is the ideal density for the majority of run-and-gun filmmaking and outdoor photography, allowing you to maintain cinematic shutter speeds for perfect motion blur, even in bright and changing lighting conditions. Whether you´re shooting on a slightly overcast day or in direct sunlight, you can precisely dial in your exposure without ever compromising your desired aperture for a shallow depth of field. At the heart of this filter lies the revolutionary Chroma Polarizer glass, a new standard in optical purity. This advanced glass technology guarantees zero color shift and exceptional color accuracy, ensuring that the vibrant, true-to-life colors you see are exactly what your sensor captures. Say goodbye to the green or magenta color casts common in lesser-quality VND filters. The integrated circular polarizer function further enhances your images by cutting through glare and reflections on non-metallic surfaces like water, glass, and foliage, resulting in richer colors, deeper blue skies, and stunning clarity.Designed for a fluid and intuitive workflow, the McKinnon Series filter features a unique haptic feedback mechanism. As you rotate the filter, you will feel a distinct click at each full stop, allowing you to make precise adjustments by feel alone, without ever needing to take your eye away from the viewfinder. This tactile response is invaluable in fast-paced shooting environments. Furthermore, the filter is engineered with autolocking hard stops at both ends of the density range, completely eliminating the risk of the dreaded X-pattern cross-polarization that can ruin a shot. This specific 95mm model features a robust, coarse-threaded design, engineered for a secure and rapid connection with compatible PolarPro matte box systems like Recon. The aerospace-grade aluminum frame ensures durability and a lightweight profile, built to withstand the rigors of professional use. Each filter also includes the rugged Defender360™ case, providing superior protection for your investment during transport and storage. For the creator who refuses to compromise on quality or efficiency, the PolarPro Chroma VND/PL 2-5 is the definitive choice for achieving a cinematic look directly in-camera. tradeinn Techinn
