Elevate your visual storytelling and master any lighting environment with the PolarPro Chroma VND/PL 6-9-Gold Mist-95mm-Fine Threaded-McKinnon Series Filter. This professional-grade, all-in-one filter is meticulously engineered for discerning photographers and filmmakers using DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Born from a collaboration with renowned creator Peter McKinnon, this tool is designed not just to solve technical challenges but to unlock new dimensions of creative expression, combining three distinct effects into a single, seamless unit.Experience unparalleled control over light with the precision Variable Neutral Density (VND) function. Offering a robust range of 6 to 9 stops of light reduction, this filter is your essential companion for shooting in intensely bright conditions. Whether you´re capturing landscapes under the midday sun, filming in reflective snow, or seeking to use a wide-open aperture like f/1.4 for a shallow depth of field in daylight, the 6-9 stop range allows you to maintain cinematic shutter speeds (like 1/50th) for perfect motion blur, all without overexposing your image. The laser-etched stop indicators ensure you can accurately and repeatedly dial in your desired exposure.Integrated directly into the system is a high-performance Circular Polarizer (PL). This essential component works to cut through harsh glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, and foliage. The result is dramatically enhanced color saturation, deeper blue skies, and richer, more vibrant greens. By combining the VND and Polarizer, you save precious time on set and reduce the need to stack multiple filters, which can introduce vignetting and image degradation. What truly sets this filter apart is the integrated Gold Mist diffusion. This artistic effect adds a subtle, ethereal quality to your footage and photos. It delicately blooms and softens highlights, creating a gentle, pleasing glow that reduces the harsh digital sharpness of modern sensors. The Gold element introduces a subtle warmth to the highlights and mid-tones, infusing your scenes with a nostalgic, dreamlike, and cinematic character. It's the perfect way to add a polished, organic feel directly in-camera, saving you time in post-production.Engineered for the rigors of professional use, the filter features PolarPro's signature haptic feedback mechanism. This innovative design provides a distinct tactile click at each stop, allowing you to make precise adjustments by feel alone, without ever needing to take your eye away from the viewfinder or monitor. The frame is constructed from lightweight yet durable aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring it can withstand the demands of any shoot. At its heart is the pristine CinemaSeries™ Glass, crafted in Germany to guarantee a low refractive index, perfect color neutrality, and exceptional target transmission. This ensures your images remain sharp and free of unwanted color casts. This 95mm fine-threaded version is designed for direct compatibility with a wide range of professional lenses and matte box systems, offering a secure and stable connection for flawless results. tradeinn Techinn
