Perfect for landscape, automotive, and outdoor creators. Elevate your photography and videography with the PolarPro QuartzLine ND16/PL Filter, a professional-grade 82mm filter designed for creators who refuse to compromise on image quality. This hybrid filter masterfully combines two essential effects into a single, streamlined element, empowering you to capture stunning visuals with enhanced creative control. It is the perfect tool for landscape, automotive, and outdoor photographers and filmmakers seeking to manipulate light and reflections simultaneously. The core function of this filter is its 4-stop light reduction (ND16). This capability is crucial for shooting in bright, sunlit conditions. It allows you to slow your shutter speed to create breathtaking motion blur effects, transforming flowing water into a silky, ethereal haze and capturing the dynamic movement of clouds across the sky. For portrait photographers, the ND16 enables the use of wide apertures like f/1.2 or f/1.4 in broad daylight, achieving a beautifully shallow depth of field and isolating your subject from the background without overexposing the image. For videographers, it is indispensable for maintaining the cinematic 180-degree shutter rule, ensuring natural-looking motion in your footage even under the midday sun.Simultaneously, the integrated circular polarizer (PL) component works to manage reflections and enhance colour. By rotating the filter, you can precisely cut through glare and reflections on non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, and foliage. This reveals the true texture and detail beneath, making rivers and lakes appear transparent and reducing distracting shine on windows or car bodies. The polarizing effect also dramatically boosts natural colour saturation, deepening the blue of the sky, increasing the vibrancy of green leaves, and making your entire scene pop with lifelike intensity. The QuartzLine series stands apart due to its exceptional optical purity. Crafted from a fused quartz glass element, this filter boasts a remarkably low refractive index of 1.46, ensuring maximum light transmission and unparalleled sharpness across your entire frame. This material choice guarantees a hyper-neutral colour profile, meaning it will not introduce any colour cast to your images, preserving the natural tones of your scene. Its thermal stability ensures consistent performance even when shooting in extreme temperature fluctuations. The robust brass frame provides superior durability compared to standard aluminium, offering a secure grip and a smooth rotation while significantly reducing the risk of binding or cross-threading on your lens. To protect this pristine optic, 16 advanced coating layers are applied, providing robust protection against scratches, water, and oils, making it easy to clean in the field and ready for any adventure.FEATURES:- Quartz glass element- Brass frames- 16 coats of paint: Protection against scratches and oil stains- Refractive index: 1.46Type:- UV Filter: No- Protection Filter: No- Skylight Filter: No- Colour Correction Filter: No- Colour Filter: No- Infrared Filter: No- Light Pollution Filter: No- Filter Accessories: NoGeneral:- Diameter (mm): 82. tradeinn Techinn
