The POSCA PC-5M uses a unique valve mechanism to ensure a perfect seal and long paint life, and to prime and re-saturate the tip as needed during creation. A small ball inside the marker promotes consistent texture, and shaking with the cap on mixes the paint. Tips can be rotated or replaced with PC-1M, PC-3M, PC-5M, PC-7M, PC-8K, or PC-17K replacements. The marker can be cleaned under water if needed, and if the paint flow dwindles, re-shaking with the cap on helps restore it. The color of the cap indicates the paint color inside.
