The flex cuff provides a perfectly sealed, airtight connection between your 4” OD port and the 4” OD of the reducer without the need for assorted screws or duct tape. The 2-1/4” OD shop vac components fit inside the smaller end of the reducer. The OD of the smaller end of the reducer can also be used to connect to a 2-1/2” ID (Inside diameter) flexible hose.
