SONUBAITS Spike´um Wafters Chocolate & Orange 40g | Critically Balanced HookbaitsElevate your angling game and unlock more bites with the SONUBAITS Spike´um Wafters in the irresistible Chocolate & Orange flavour. Expertly designed for the modern coarse and match angler, these high-attract hookbaits provide the perfect presentation to outwit even the most cautious fish. Combining a potent scent profile with a visually striking appearance, the Spike´um Wafters are your secret weapon for consistent success on any commercial or natural venue. These are not your standard bottom baits, they are meticulously engineered to be critically balanced. This means they possess just enough buoyancy to counteract the weight of your hook, creating a wafting, semi-buoyant presentation that sits enticingly just above your pile of feed or the lakebed. This natural and subtle movement mimics free-floating food particles, making the bait incredibly easy for fish like carp, F1s, bream, and tench to inhale, resulting in more confident and aggressive takes.Unleash Unmatched AttractionThe Chocolate & Orange combination is a proven winner, blending the rich, sweet notes of chocolate with the sharp, zesty citrus aroma of orange. This powerful scent trail disperses effectively through the water column, drawing fish into your swim from a wide area. The dual-tone colouration—a vibrant orange paired with a deep, rich brown—provides a strong visual trigger that stands out against most lakebeds and groundbait mixes, ensuring your hookbait is the first thing a fish investigates.Designed for Speed and EfficiencyAs the Spike´um name suggests, these wafters are specifically formulated with a durable yet pliable texture, making them perfect for mounting on a bait spike or bayonet. This allows for incredibly fast and secure rigging, getting your bait back in the water with minimal fuss—a crucial advantage in competitive match fishing scenarios. While ideal for spiking, their robust nature also makes them perfectly suitable for traditional hair-rigging with a bait band.Wafters vs. Pop Ups: The Strategic AdvantageMany anglers are familiar with standard Pop Ups, which are designed to be highly buoyant and float significantly off the bottom. While effective in certain situations, such as fishing over deep silt or weed, they can sometimes appear unnatural to wary, pressured fish. The Spike´um Wafter offers a more refined and strategic alternative. By simply neutralizing the hook´s weight, it presents a bait that behaves more like a natural food item, hovering delicately and moving with the slightest water displacement. This subtle, critically-balanced presentation is often the key to fooling educated fish that might shy away from a high-popped bait.Technical Specifications:* Product: Spike´um Wafters* Brand: SONUBAITS* Flavour Profile: Chocolate & Orange* Buoyancy: Critically Balanced Wafter (Semi-Buoyant)* Shape: Dumbbell* Colour: Dual-Tone (Vibrant Orange & Rich Brown)* Pack Size: 40g supplied in a secure, resealable tub* Recommended Rigging: Bait Spike, Bayonet, or Hair Rig with a Bait Band* Target Species: Carp, F1s, Bream, Tench, and other coarse fish* Ideal For: Method Feeder, Pellet Feeder, Bomb, and Waggler fishingGive yourself the competitive edge with SONUBAITS Spike´um Wafters.
