Sonubaits Spike´um Wafters Scopex 40g. Outsmart wary fish with SONUBAITS Spike´um Wafters Scopex 40g. These critically balanced, semi-buoyant natural baits hover enticingly just above the lakebed, mimicking a free offering. Their neutral buoyancy fools pressured fish, leading to confident bites and improved hook-ups. Perfect for carp, F1s, bream, and tench, they rig quickly with a bait spike, ideal for feeder and bomb fishing. The irresistible Scopex flavour creates a powerful scent trail, drawing fish to your swim. SONUBAITS Spike´um Wafters Scopex 40g | Critically Balanced Natural BaitsUnlock the secret to more consistent catches and outwit the most cautious fish with the SONUBAITS Spike´um Wafters in the legendary Scopex flavour. Expertly designed for the modern angler, these 40g tubs of natural baits are your new go-to hookbait for a wide variety of species, including carp, F1s, bream, and tench. When standard bottom baits are ignored and fish are wary of high-attract presentations, the Spike´um Wafter provides the perfect, subtle advantage to turn inspections into confident bites. The core benefit of these wafters lies in their critical balance. Each bait is meticulously engineered to be semi-buoyant, perfectly counteracting the weight of your hook. The result is a hookbait that hovers just above the lakebed or sits weightlessly on top of your feeder mix, behaving like a free offering. This natural presentation is irresistible to fish, as the bait flies into their mouth with the slightest inhalation, leading to more secure hook holds and a significantly improved bite-to-landed ratio. The Wafter Advantage Over Pop UpsWhile many anglers are familiar with the high-buoyancy action of traditional Pop Ups, the Sonubaits Spike´um Wafters offer a more refined and strategic presentation. Unlike Pop Ups, which float high off the bottom and can sometimes appear unnatural to pressured fish, these wafters create a neutral buoyancy. This means your hook lies flat on the bottom while the bait hovers enticingly just above it. This subtle yet deadly presentation is the key to fooling educated fish that have learned to avoid more obvious rigs, giving you a distinct edge on any venue. Designed for Speed and EfficiencyA standout feature of the Spike´um range is its compatibility with modern rigging techniques. The firm yet pliable texture makes them ideal for use with a bait spike or bayonet. This allows for incredibly fast and secure rigging, meaning you spend less time fiddling with drills and stops and more time with your bait in the water. Simply push the spike into the wafter for a perfect presentation every time. This makes them exceptionally well-suited for method feeder, pellet feeder, and bomb fishing tactics where speed and efficiency can make all the difference. The iconic, sweet, and creamy Scopex flavour is a proven fish attractor that leaks a powerful scent trail into the water, drawing fish into your swim and triggering an aggressive feeding response. SonuBaits Spike’um Wafters have been developed with extensive testing to ensure an effective Wafter that maintains their effectiveness as a wafter hookbait while being soft enough to spike or bayonet without being too soft that they are easily dislodged on the cast or by nuisance small fish. The Spike’ums store well and maintain their perfect wafter buoyancy long after being opened, a consistency we aim for in all our Method hookbaits Available in 8mm (millimeter) Power Scopex Flavour supplied in 40g (gram) tub
