These flexible sanding pads are ideal for sanding a wide range of surfaces including wood, metal, plaster and filler. They give a smooth finish and leave your surface in tiptop condition ready for painting, priming, staining or varnishing. The pads are excellent for irregular surfaces: the flexible sponge moulds easily to curved, moulded or profiled surfaces such as pipes, window sill edges, architraves, skirting board, balustrades, spindles, railings and more, which can be tricky to sand with traditional paper abrasive such as sandpaper or wet & dry. Fine grade abrasive is ideal for final sanding prior to applying a first coat of paint, primer, stain or varnish to wood, smoothing surface imperfections on wood or metal and removing texture on plaster and fillers. Can be used either dry like sandpaper, but also wet with no loss of performance, which is handy if you need to keep sanding dust to a minimum. They can also be rinsed under running water and re-used, lasting longer than sandpaper. Each pad 12cm x 10cm (4" x 3") approx.
