SLR stands for Spring Loaded Reflex and refers to the system which ensures that this bivvy is set up and taken down in no time. The aluminum poles provide strength, comfort and a huge amount of space inside. On the outside, the tent is equipped with a peak, so nothing will get in during rain while looking out over the water. Room for rods has also been thought of with 2 velcro straps that allow you to attach rods to either side of your tent when you are changing rigs. The Pro-Tex material is 100% waterproof, breathable, durable and has a rating of 20,000mm. The front of the bivvy can be completely unzipped out and replaced with a complete mesh front. This combined with the 4 huge mozzy mesh panels on the sides and back not only allows for good airflow through your tent in warm periods, but also provides a full view of the site and water. Finally, the heavy-duty groundsheet ensures that you are also well protected from cold from the ground or pests. A sturdy zipper allows you to attach the groundsheet to the tent. Here, the connection for the zipper is placed 10cm above the ground, so that even during heavy rain you never suffer from water in your tent.
