Prometheus Purple Air Seal Chamber Packing (Bucking) by

Prometheus Air Seal Soft Type Rubber Hop Up. PROMETHEUS Air Seal Soft Type Hop-Up RubberUnlock the pinnacle of precision and consistency in your Airsoft AEG with the PROMETHEUS Air Seal Soft Type Hop-Up Rubber. Engineered in Japan for the discerning player, this essential internal component is the cornerstone of a high-performance rifle, designed to deliver unparalleled accuracy and a superior air seal. If you´re looking to elevate your game with a significant upgrade in shot-to-shot consistency and effective range, this Prometheus bucking is the definitive choice. The advanced design of this hop-up rubber focuses on creating a virtually perfect seal between the nozzle and the barrel. This meticulous engineering minimizes air loss during the firing cycle, resulting in a more stable and consistent muzzle velocity (FPS). A stable FPS is critical for a predictable BB trajectory, allowing you to land follow-up shots with confidence and tighten your groupings at distance. The superior air seal not only improves consistency but can also contribute to a more efficient use of air, ensuring every shot performs at its peak potential.Inside, the hop-up rubber features a precisely shaped contact patch that applies a uniform and repeatable backspin to each BB. This smooth, consistent spin stabilizes the BB in flight, counteracting the effect of gravity and dramatically extending your effective range. You will gain the ability to make finer, more meaningful adjustments to your hop-up, allowing you to dial in the perfect trajectory for different BB weights and engagement distances.Diagnosing Your Performance & Choosing the Right Type:If your hop-up adjustment is not having a big effect on the hop-up of your BBs, then it probably means that your hop-up packing is worn down and is not gripping the BB properly before it is fired out.A new hop-up packing will allow more accurate hop-up adjustments. This Soft Type rubber is best used on guns that shoot below 400fps. The supple nature of the material provides optimal grip and spin on BBs at these standard velocities, ensuring maximum performance without excessive wear.If your gun shoots above 400fps, then opt for the hard type hop-up packing instead. For heavily upgraded AEGs, especially those optimized for high rates of fire, we especially recommend to use the Prometheus hard type hop-up packing as well for improving full auto mode shooting effectively.Crafted with the legendary quality and tight tolerances that the Prometheus brand is known for, this hop-up rubber is a drop-in upgrade for most standard AEG hop-up chambers and barrels, making it one of the most effective and accessible performance enhancements you can make to your airsoft rifle.
