Nasal gel Prontoderm Prontoderm, 30 ml, B BraunProperties: Medical device Prontoderm® Nasal Gel can be used for MDRO decolonization (especially MRSA, VRE, ESBL) by physical cleaning. Product based on surfactants and polyhexanide (polyaminopropyl biguanide) which gives increased tolerability of the skin and mucous membrane. Tested according to EN 12054 / 13727, EN 1275 standards.Indications: Prontoderm® Nasal Gel is indicated for antimicrobial cleaning of the nasal mucosa. Effect supported by the antimicrobial barrier, to prevent recolonization by inhibiting the multiplication, spread and transmission of MDRO. Reduces odor. It is suitable for pre-operative cleaning. Does not require rinsing. Water-based solution, containing substances with low allergenic potential. Painless application. *MDRO - Multidrug-Resistant OrganismsWay of ussage: Clean the nose thoroughly with Prontoderm® Nasal Gel and a cotton swab at least 3 times a day. Duration of use is in accordance with current MDRO decolonization guidance. In the absence of other recommendations, Prontoderm® products will be used for a maximum of 15 days (1 to 3 decolonization cycles every 3-5 days).Ingredients: 0.1% polyaminopropyl biguanide (polyhexanide), glycerin, hydroxyethyl cellulose, excipientsPrecautions: It is forbidden to mix the nasal gel with other soaps or solutions.
