Pink nylon hammer wedge/flat head hammer wIth wooden handle. Dimensions: Overall head length: approx 4.5” Flat end: approx 1.2" wide. Wedge end: approx 1/8" in thickness. Non marking hammer for forming and shaping soft metals. The wedge end can be used for tight spots, perfect forming and shaping soft and precious metals- sheet metals without marking. Sinusoidal stake: The stake is made form extremely hard high performance thermo plastic. Outside radius 4,8,10,15,20mm. Inside radius 8,10,15,20mm. Dia length 280mm. Thickness 20mm tapering down to 10mm. This tool is used to form compound curves in sheet metal. Using this process the metal is compressed in the centre and stretched on the edges ... the resulting form is that of a saddle or once you pop you never stop pringle (crisp) shape. Anticlastic raising is usually done using a combination of steel and plastic. It is better to use a plastic stake and a steel hammer as using a steel stake you may find you have a lot of planishing to do and also offers less control.
