WHAT IS THIS KIT FOR? - AWNING & TENT CLEANER is specially formulated to clean and help prevent the growth of green mildew this cleaner will remove everyday contaminants such as bird droppings, tree sap, mildew and mold. AWNING & TENT WATERPROOFER is specially formulated to seal and protect your canvas or fabric awning this spray on sealant will provide protection against moisture and other environmental damage. APPLICATION PROCESS - AWNING & TENT CLEANER - Starting in the middle and working towards the edges, apply the cleaner with a clean paintbrush. Leave for 15 minutes to allow the cleaner to penetrate then gently scrub using hot water and a stiff brush to loosen dirt and grime. Complete the process by rinsing well with clean cold water and allow to dry. APPLICATION PROCESS - AWNING & TENT WATERPROOFER - Starting in the middle and working towards the edges, spray the waterproofer onto the canvas or fabric. Avoid spilling any onto the vehicle’s paintwork or glass. Drying should take about 3 hours, and then, apply a second coat and again allow 3 hours drying time. THE NEXT STEP - Avoid exposure to moisture until the waterproofer is fully dried. It is recommended that Protex Awning Waterproofer is reapplied every six months.
