RIBERA DEL DUERO - Protos Crianza expresses the terroir of the Ribera del Duero, taking you through a journey of a timeless land. Its grapes originate from the Burgos and Valladolid vineyards. BODEGA PROTOS – Founded in 1927, Bodega Protos is the oldest winery in Spain’s Ribera Del Duero hence it's Latin name "first". Wine experts nurture the 1,400ha vineyards to ensure the highest quality. AGING – Protos Crianza experiences 12 months in French and American oak barrels before a further 12 months in bottle. SPANISH RED WINE - Cherry red in colour with purple rim indicating the youth of Protos Crianza. NOSE - High aromatic intensity, with aroma of ripe fruits well assembled with wood that brings aromas of sweet spices and pleasant toasted notes.
