VERDEJO DE RUEDA – A dry and refreshing Spanish white wine made with the highest quality Verdejo de Rueda grapes. BODEGA PROTOS – Founded in 1927, Bodega Protos is the oldest winery in Spain’s Ribera Del Duero hence it's Latin name "first". Wine experts nurture the 1,400ha vineyards to ensure the highest quality. SPANISH WHITE WINE - Straw yellow in colour with green hints that reflect its youth and is typical of the Verdejo de Rueda grape variety. NOSE - Aromas of tropical fruits and citrus fruits first appear along with white fruits and herbs, such as boxwood and fennel. PALATE - Dry with an elegant balance of freshness and acidity. It has a soft mouthfeel due to the time spent on its lees and a long, slightly bitter finish, typical of the variety.
