PUIG Sport Windshield for KTM 1290 Super Adventure T 2023Product Category: ProtectorsSubcategory: WindshieldsTransform the presence and performance of your KTM 1290 Super Adventure with the PUIG Sport Windshield, meticulously engineered for the rider who demands both style and function. This premium screen is the definitive upgrade for those looking to unleash the aggressive, rally-inspired character of their machine while gaining a significant aerodynamic advantage. Designed and tested in a virtual wind tunnel, this sport screen offers a perfect synthesis of cutting-edge aesthetics and enhanced riding dynamics.Enhanced Aerodynamic Performance and Rider ComfortThe primary benefit of the PUIG Sport Windshield is its dramatic improvement in aerodynamics. By adopting a lower, more compact profile compared to the original factory screen, it effectively reduces wind pressure on the rider´s helmet and upper body. This results in a smoother, more stable ride at high speeds, minimizing turbulence and fatigue on long journeys or spirited back-road adventures. The carefully sculpted design channels airflow cleanly around the rider, providing a comfortable pocket of still air without sacrificing the exhilarating feeling of an open-air ride. This makes it an ideal choice for warm climates, off-road excursions, and riders who prefer a more direct connection with their environment.Aggressive Styling and Uncompromised VisionGive your KTM 1290 Super Adventure a radical, competitive look. The Sport Windshield´s sharp lines and reduced height accentuate the motorbike´s aggressive front end, creating a more focused and purposeful stance. It replaces the larger, touring-oriented stock screen with a piece that screams performance. Beyond its stunning looks, the lower profile significantly improves the rider´s field of vision, which is a crucial advantage for technical off-road riding or navigating challenging terrain where a clear view of the trail directly in front of the wheel is paramount. It also provides excellent protection for the motorcycle´s sophisticated instrumentation, shielding it from debris, insects, and the elements.Main Features:* Sport-Oriented Design: Features a lower, more aggressive profile for a race-inspired aesthetic.* Virtual Wind Tunnel Developed: Engineered to optimize aerodynamic efficiency, reduce drag, and improve stability.* Improved Rider Field of View: The compact size offers an unobstructed view of the road or trail ahead.* Superior Rider Protection: Effectively deflects wind from the rider´s chest and shoulders, while also protecting the instrument panel.* Perfect Integration: Designed to follow the precise lines of the motorcycle for a seamless, factory-like fit.* Simplified Installation: Mounts using the motorcycle´s original hardware and attachment points, requiring no modifications.* Safety Certified: Features a rounded edge profile and holds German TÜV approval and ABE 38182 homologation, ensuring it meets the highest safety and quality standards.---Technical Specifications* Product Attribute: Sport Windshields* Compatibility: Specifically designed for the KTM 1290 Super Adventure models from 2021 to 2023.* Dimensions : 400 mm x 345 mm* Height Difference vs. OEM: -130 mm (Significantly shorter than the original screen)* Installation: Uses existing OEM mounting points.
