PUIG Racing Windshield for BMW S1000R (2014-2018)Unleash the full potential of your BMW S1000R with the PUIG Racing Windshield, an essential upgrade for riders seeking superior performance, enhanced comfort, and an aggressive aesthetic. Designed specifically for the 2014 to 2018 models of this iconic naked motorbike, this screen transforms your riding experience by masterfully managing airflow and providing exceptional protection.Drawing directly from PUIG´s extensive experience in top-tier racing championships like MotoGP and WorldSBK, this windshield is the result of meticulous research and development. Each screen is developed and tested in a virtual wind tunnel to achieve a proven aerodynamic advantage. The primary benefit is a significant improvement in the aerodynamic coefficient (Cx), allowing your motorcycle to cut through the air with greater efficiency. This translates to increased stability at high speeds and a more planted feel, giving you the confidence to push the limits. The core of its design is the innovative double-height, or double bubble, profile. This feature effectively channels wind over the rider´s helmet and shoulders, rather than directly into the chest. The result is a drastic reduction in wind pressure and turbulence, creating a calmer, more comfortable pocket of air. This significantly lessens rider fatigue on both long-distance tours and aggressive track days, allowing you to stay focused and enjoy the ride for longer.Beyond its functional excellence, the PUIG Racing Windshield adds a sharp, race-inspired look that perfectly complements the aggressive lines of the BMW S1000R. It integrates seamlessly with the motorbike´s original fairing, appearing as a factory-quality enhancement. The design is not only about performance but also about safety. The screen features a rounded contour profile, complying with the stringent German TÜV regulations to ensure maximum safety for the rider. This attention to detail demonstrates a commitment to quality and rider well-being, making it one of the premier Windshields available for your BMW. Elevate your ride with a perfect fusion of racetrack technology, aerodynamic performance, and dynamic style.Technical Specifications:* Product: PUIG Racing Windshield* Compatible Model: BMW S1000R* Model Years: 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018* Dimensions : 310 mm x 310 mm* Height Increase over OEM: +90 mm* Design: Double Height / Double Bubble* Development: Virtual Wind Tunnel Tested* Safety: Rounded Edge Profile* Homologation: ABE 38182, TÜV ApprovedAttributes: BMW, Windshields. tradeinn Motardinn
