GUNPOWDER PROOF: A traditional Royal Navy style rum produced at original Admiralty strength in accordance with the Admiralty’s blending recipe last used when the Navy discontinued daily rations in 1970. SPICED: A touch of Caribbean Spice, mellowed with a subtle blend of banana, vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of ginger, chill-filtered and aged in charred oak bourbon barrels for three years. TASTING NOTES: Colour- Dark, coppery amber with burnished copper highlights. Palette- Sweet vanilla and caramelized banana balance a spicy flavour. Nose- molasses, banana, chocolate, vanilla and a touch of ginger. Finish- Long and smooth.
