Rapala Floating Jointed Minnow 18g 130mm | The Ultimate Finesse Predator LureUnlock the secret to triggering strikes from the most cautious and unresponsive fish with the legendary Rapala Floating Jointed Minnow. Expertly designed for situations where predators are wary, this lure delivers a unique and exaggerated action that even the most finicky fish cannot resist. It stands as the perfect choice when fish are in a negative feeding mood, transforming a slow day on the water into a session of memorable catches. The magic of the Jointed Minnow lies in its slight exaggeration of Rapala's unique baitfish in distress action. The two-piece, broken-back body design creates a wide, sweeping swimming motion that perfectly mimics a struggling baitfish on its last legs. This pronounced action sends out powerful visual cues and hydrodynamic vibrations, activating the predatory instincts of species like pike, zander, bass, and large trout. On a slow retrieve, it swims just below the surface with a tantalizing wobble, give it a twitch, and it darts erratically, broadcasting a signal of an easy meal.Versatility is at the core of this lure´s design. It can be fished like the Original Floating, top to bottom, allowing you to adapt to wherever the fish are holding in the water column. Use a slow, steady retrieve for a seductive surface wake, or crank it faster to make it dive and search the mid-depths. The floating nature also makes it incredibly effective with a stop-and-go technique. After a twitch or a crank, simply pause your retrieve and watch as the lure slowly rises towards the surface, a moment when many aggressive strikes occur.Falling within the versatile 101-150 mm size range and the popular 11-19 gr weight class, this 130 mm model is a substantial offering that attracts quality fish while remaining easy to cast on standard spinning or baitcasting gear.Key Features:* Balsa Wood Construction: The lightweight and highly buoyant balsa body provides the lure with its signature lively and responsive action, which is impossible to replicate with plastic.
