Rapala X-Rap® Suspending Minnow 100mm 13g | The Ultimate Jerkbait LureExperience the pinnacle of lure design with the Rapala X-Rap® Suspending Minnow, a legendary jerkbait engineered to dominate the water and provoke aggressive strikes from the most cunning predators. Measuring 100mm and weighing 13g, this lure is meticulously balanced to deliver a performance that is, in the words of its creators, all about the action. It's the perfect size, shape and 3D illusion of a minnow, making it an essential tool for every serious angler´s tackle box. As a premier choice in the versatile 71-100 mm and 11-19 gr class, this X-Rap is perfectly sized for targeting a wide range of game fish. The visual attraction of the X-Rap® is second to none. Its textured translucent body works in concert with an internal holographic foil to create an incredibly realistic and enticing appearance. Prominent scales and lateral line on the fuselage capture and flash light like a beacon, sending out signals that can be seen by fish from a distance, drawing them in for a closer look. The 3D holographic eye provides a critical focal point for predators, simulating a vulnerable baitfish and triggering their natural instinct to attack.Versatility is at the core of the X-Rap´s design. It can be fished both in an aggressive Slashbait® technique or with a classic Rapala wobble. With sharp snaps of the rod tip, the lure executes a hard-cutting, erratic darting action that perfectly mimics a frantic, fleeing baitfish. Alternatively, a steady retrieve imparts the legendary wounded minnow wobble that has made Rapala a household name. The true genius lies in its responsiveness, the angler defines the cadence for maximum effectiveness, allowing you to adapt your presentation to the mood of the fish and the conditions of the day.One of the most potent features of the X-Rap® is its ability to suspend perfectly on the pause. After a series of twitches or a quick retrieve, simply stop reeling, and the lure will hang tantalizingly in the strike zone. This pause is often when hesitant fish commit, resulting in explosive, reaction-based strikes. To ensure you can reach fish holding at a distance or cover more water efficiently, the lure incorporates an internal long-cast system, providing superior casting distance and accuracy. The presentation is completed by a flash feather teaser tail, which adds a subtle, lifelike pulse and flow during the pause and on the retrieve, providing one last irresistible trigger.Every Rapala X-Rap® is built to the highest standards of quality and performance. Armed with two razor-sharp VMC® Black Nickel hooks, it ensures solid hooksets and the strength to handle powerful fish.
