At only 4 grams, The RECCO Backpack reflector is lightweight, requires no batteries or power, and it does not have to be turned on. [ Be Searchable ] By wearing a RECCO reflector, you allow search teams to locate you using either a RECCO handheld detector or a RECCO SAR helicopter detector. [ How it works ] The system consists of two parts: the detector sends out a radar signal, which is echoed back by the RECCO reflector, guiding rescuers to your exact location. [ Intended Use ] Designed for your outdoor backpack, Primarily intended for use in the winter when skiing and snowboarding or for summer sports such as hiking, mountain biking and more.
