The Remo Starfire Chrome bass drum head in 18″ (CR-1018-00) was specially developed for compact bass drums and bop kits and impresses with professional performance. The single-ply 12-mil Mylar film ensures stability and is optimally tuned to the low frequencies of small bass drums. Thanks to the high-gloss chrome lamination, a focused, dry punch with controlled sustain is produced. Used as a resonant head (front head), it delivers an especially clean bass sound with reduced overtones.
