History: The conquistadors were Spanish and Portuguese military adventurers who played a central role in the exploration and colonisation of the Americas during the 16th century. Figures such as Hernn Corts and Francisco Pizarro led small but determined forces against vast empires like the Aztecs and Incas. Equipped with steel armour, firearms, and horses, they held a technological edge over indigenous armies, but also relied heavily on native allies and ruthless tactics. Their expeditions reshaped the world through conquest, trade, and cultural exchange often with devastating consequences. Wargames Atlantics Conquistadors kit allows hobbyists to recreate these pivotal moments in history or explore imaginative scenarios where Old World soldiers face the unknown.
