The RIDGID 36597 Quick-Acting 153 Tube Cutter is designed for cutting copper tubing with a capacity of 32-90 mm (1.1/4 - 3.1/2 in). It features a quick-acting design and I-beam construction to provide durability and stability during use. The cutter includes the X-CEL knob for faster, easier cutting and a tool-free wheel change via the X-CEL wheel pin with a ball detent design. A reversible knob stops the cutter wheel short of the rolls, and hardened wear surfaces with thrust bearing slide assemblies ensure smooth operation. Also available in models for plastic pipe.
