Ritchey RL1 Baquiano Handlebar: Master Every Terrain with Confidence and ControlEmbrace the spirit of exploration with the Ritchey RL1 Baquiano handlebar, a component born from a legacy of off-road and mixed-terrain riding. Meticulously engineered for the demands of Gravel cycling, bikepacking, and all-road adventures, this handlebar is your key to unlocking superior comfort and unwavering control on any surface you choose to conquer. The RL1 Baquiano is designed to place the rider in a confident, commanding position. Its intelligent geometry is centered around a shallow 118mm compact drop and a comfortable 73mm reach. This combination allows for effortless transitions between the tops, hoods, and drops, reducing fatigue on long journeys and providing quick access to your brake and shift levers when the terrain gets technical. The design promotes a more upright posture when in the drops, enhancing stability and visibility without sacrificing an aerodynamic option when you need to power through a headwind. One of the standout features of the Baquiano is its thoughtful 12-degree flare in the drops. This subtle outward angle provides significant ergonomic benefits, increasing wrist clearance and creating a wider, more stable platform for descending on rough gravel roads or singletrack. This extra space not only boosts your control but also offers ample room for handlebar bags, making it an ideal choice for multi-day bikepacking trips. Crafted from a durable and reliable 6061 Aluminum alloy, it offers a fantastic balance of stiffness, compliance, and light weight. Its classic Non-integrated design ensures broad compatibility with a wide range of stems and accessories, allowing for a fully customized cockpit setup.
