ROBENS Klondike Protective FootprintElevate your camping experience and safeguard your cherished investment with the ROBENS Klondike Protective Footprint. Specifically engineered as the first line of defence for your Klondike tent, this essential accessory is a must-have for any serious camper looking to maximise the lifespan and performance of their gear. By creating a durable barrier between your tent and the ground, the footprint provides invaluable protection against the elements and rough terrain, ensuring your tent remains in prime condition for many adventures to come. This handy footprint will keep the groundsheet of your tent clean and help protect it from abrasion and damage.Imagine setting up camp on less-than-perfect ground, sharp stones, abrasive gravel, hidden thorns, and damp, muddy soil can all take a toll on your tent´s integrated groundsheet. The Klondike Footprint absorbs this impact, preventing punctures, tears, and general wear. It also significantly simplifies your pack-down process. Instead of spending time cleaning a muddy and damp tent groundsheet, you can simply shake out, wipe down, and pack away the much more manageable footprint, keeping your main tent clean and dry for its next use.It will also provide insulation from the cold ground.Beyond protection, this footprint offers a noticeable upgrade in comfort. By adding an extra layer between you and the earth, it acts as a thermal barrier, reducing heat loss into the cold ground. This added insulation is particularly beneficial during cooler nights or camping in the spring and autumn shoulder seasons, helping to maintain a warmer and more comfortable temperature inside your Klondike tent. You´ll feel the difference underfoot, making your living space cosier and more enjoyable. The footprint should be entirely covered by the tent to prevent rain from being channeled under the floor.Designed with precision, the Klondike Footprint is cut to the exact profile of your tent, but sized slightly smaller. This intelligent design is crucial for performance in wet weather. It ensures that rainwater running off the tent´s flysheet drips directly onto the ground, rather than collecting on an exposed edge of the footprint and funnelling underneath your groundsheet. This simple yet critical detail keeps your sleeping area dry and protected from water ingress.Features:Cut to fit tent profile:Enjoy a perfect, no-fuss fit every time. This footprint is custom-made for the ROBENS Klondike tent, eliminating any guesswork and ensuring complete coverage of the main living area floor.Pegs included:Everything you need to secure the footprint is provided. The included pegs allow you to anchor the footprint firmly to the ground before pitching your tent over it, ensuring it stays perfectly in place during setup and throughout your stay.Hook and loop closure to the center to fit the zipper opening in the groundsheet:This unique feature is designed to integrate seamlessly with the Klondike tent´s zip-off groundsheet. The central hook and loop opening on the footprint aligns perfectly with the groundsheet´s zipper, allowing you to unzip the main floor to safely use a tent stove or create a wet-gear entryway, all while the footprint continues to protect the remaining floor area. This maintains the full functionality of your tent without compromising on ground protection. tradeinn Trekkinn
