A MASTERFUL SLOVENIAN BLEND – Roberto Grande is a deliberate blend of Broken Bones Single Malt Whisky and a lively grain whisky, both made by hand at our Ljubljana distillery. Where the single malt brings depth and complexity, the grain whisky brings smoothness and lift, creating a soft, full-flavoured spirit that is as wonderful neat as it is the foundation of any whisky cocktail. MADE FROM BARLEY MALT, GRAIN, YEAST AND SLOVENIAN WATER – Built on the simplest, finest ingredients: malted barley, grain, selected yeasts and exceptionally pure Slovenian water. After blending, the whisky is nurtured in a combination of casks made from native Slovenian oak and American oak — together contributing pronounced natural wood notes, gentle vanilla and warming spice over time. NATURALLY LOWER ABV — MORE OPEN, MORE EXPRESSIVE – Bottled at 41% ABV, slightly lower than our 46% Single Malt to deliberately let the natural wood notes and grain whisky character open up beautifully. The result is an immediately approachable, soft, generous whisky — ideal for new whisky drinkers as well as a sociable choice for cocktails and long sips. No caramel colouring, no artificial additives. FOUNDED AFTER A BROKEN LEG AND A BROKEN NOSE – Broken Bones is the first whisky distillery in Ljubljana, founded by three friends in 2016 after two of them ended up in hospital while working on their very first whisky barrels (one broken leg, one broken nose).
