Rocol Steamseal High Pressure Pipe Sealant is a heavy-duty sealant designed for plumbing and industrial piping. It combines graphite and manganese to provide efficient sealing for both ferrous and non-ferrous pipework, including pipes, flanges, and face joints. The product is a viscous dark grey liquid packaged in a 400 g tin and offers high-pressure sealing capabilities up to 193 bar (2800 psi). It is suitable for use in steam, water, and air systems, and is formulated to be hard-setting yet flexible, helping it resist vibration and the thermal expansion and contraction of pipework. The sealant is applied by spreading evenly around clean, dry surfaces, assembling the joint, and tightening to the recommended torque. Joints sealed with Steamseal are designed to be easy to break and clean.
