RON THOMPSON Alert Bite Alarm: Reliable Bite Detection for the Serious AnglerExperience unparalleled reliability and never miss a crucial take with the RON THOMPSON Alert bite alarm, an essential piece of fishing equipment designed for anglers who demand performance and value. Engineered to provide clear and immediate alerts, this alarm ensures you are always aware of the slightest line movement, day or night. Whether you are a seasoned carp angler or a dedicated specimen hunter, the Alert bite alarm is your trusted partner on the bankside, offering a suite of features typically found on much more expensive models. The core of this alarm´s performance lies in its sensitive detection system. It features both run and back drop indication, giving you a complete picture of fish activity around your bait. A forward run triggers a distinct audio-visual signal, while a back drop (when the fish swims towards you, creating slack line) is also clearly identified. This dual detection capability is vital for reacting correctly to different types of bites and increasing your hook-up rate.Unmatched Customisation and VisibilityTailor your setup perfectly to any fishing environment with extensive customisation options. The RON THOMPSON Alert bite alarm boasts seven distinct volume settings, allowing you to adjust the sound level from a powerful alert that cuts through wind and rain to a completely silent mode for ultimate stealth and discretion. This is ideal for fishing on crowded venues or when you prefer to rely solely on your receiver. Complementing this are six different tone settings, enabling you to assign a unique sound to each of your rods, so you instantly know which one has the activity without even looking.Night fishing is made simple and effective thanks to the alarm´s brilliant illumination features. A powerful, bright blue LED provides a high-visibility latching light, remaining on for several seconds after a bite so you have time to locate the correct rod in the dark. Furthermore, a convenient night light is cleverly built into the volume button, offering a subtle, constant glow that helps you orient yourself and find your gear without spooking nearby fish.Robust and Practical DesignBuilt for the rigours of angling, the Alert bite alarm combines a smart design with practical, robust features. The unit includes removable snag ears, which are indispensable for fishing with tight clutches or in locked-up situations. These ears prevent your rod from being pulled from the alarm during an aggressive take, safeguarding your valuable rod and reel. The smooth and reliable magnetic, transparent blue roller ensures frictionless line movement, protecting your main line while offering superb sensitivity. Operation is made simple with an integrated on/off and tone selection button, ensuring you can set up or pack down quickly and efficiently. This fantastic package comes ready to use right out of the box, with a battery included to get you fishing without delay.Main Features:- On/off built in Tone button.- Bright Blue Led.- Run and back drop detection.- Magnetic, transparent blue roller.- Night light built in volume button.- Removable snag ears.- Seven volume settings inc. silent mode.- Six Tone settings.- Battery included (operate with 12V 23A Battery).Technical Specifications:* Product Type: Bite Alarms* LED Colour: Bright Blue* Volume Settings: 7 (including silent)* Tone Settings: 6* Detection: Run and Back Drop* Special Features: Integrated Night Light, Removable Snag Ears* Battery: 12V 23A. tradeinn Waveinn
