This water-based, low VOC paint is designed to resist cracking, peeling, and blistering, helping maintain an attractive finish while standing up to harsh weather conditions. It can be applied directly to exterior joinery, with a typical dry time of 1 hour to touch and 4 hours before recoating. Coverage is up to 8 square metres with two coats on previously painted wood, and three coats on bare wood, making it suitable for a range of exterior applications. Surface preparation involves sanding, filling holes or cracks, and using a knot blocker to prevent knots from showing through, followed by thorough stirring before application. The product is available in Grey Stone Satin and weighs approximately 1.76 pounds per container.

Usage

Prepare the surface by sanding with 120 grit sandpaper for bare wood or 240 grit for previously painted wood. Fill any holes or cracks with wood filler and use a knot blocker to prevent knots from showing through. Stir the paint thoroughly to mix the colour pigments and eliminate lumps. Apply the paint in two coats on previously painted wood, or three coats on bare wood for best results. The paint is water-based with low VOC and does not require a primer, offering quick application and long-lasting protection for exterior wood.
