Ronseal 10 Year Weatherproof 2-in-1 Wood Paint provides long-lasting exterior protection for wood surfaces. It eliminates the need for a separate primer, allowing quick application while safeguarding against the elements for up to 10 years. The product is a white gloss exterior wood paint that comes in a 2.5L tin, covering up to 26m² with two coats. It dries to the touch in about an hour and can be recoated after four hours. It is designed to resist cracking, peeling, or blistering when used as directed, and is suitable for use on all exterior wood. The preparation guidance includes light sanding, cleaning with white spirit, filling holes, and using a knot blocker to prevent knots showing through, with different coat requirements depending on whether the wood is bare or previously painted.

Usage

Before applying the paint, prepare the surface properly. For bare wood, lightly sand with 120 grit sandpaper and wipe with white spirit. Fill any holes or cracks with wood filler and use a knot blocker to prevent knots from showing through. For previously painted wood, sand according to the condition of the surface; two coats are recommended on previously painted wood and three coats on bare wood.
