Ronseal 10 Year Woodstain Antique Pine 2.5 Litre

The Ronseal 10 Year Woodstain in Antique Pine provides long-lasting weather protection for exterior wood, helping surfaces keep their appearance for up to 10 years. It is easy to apply with no base coats or primers required and is suitable for all smooth planed exterior wood, though it is not suitable for decking. This water-based stain has low VOC and dries to a protected finish in about one hour. The product comes in a 2.5L container and is BBA approved. It covers roughly 18 m² per litre, and preparation steps include stirring, testing a patch, and proper surface cleaning and sanding as described below.

Usage

Ensure the temperature is above 10°C on a dry day for optimal application. For stained or varnished wood, sand the surface with 120 grit sandpaper to remove old finishes and smooth the surface, then clean with white spirit to remove dust. For new wood, lightly sand and wipe down with white spirit before application. Stir the tin thoroughly to mix the colour pigment and test the Woodstain on a small patch to confirm colour satisfaction.
