For stained or varnished wood, sand the surface with 120 grit sandpaper to remove old finishes and smooth the surface. Clean the surface with white spirit to remove dust. For new wood, lightly sand and wipe down with white spirit before application. Usage Stir the tin thoroughly to mix the colour pigment. Test the Woodstain on a small patch to ensure satisfaction with the colour.
