Ronseal 10 Year Woodstain Dark Oak 38669 250 ml

This Ronseal 10 Year Woodstain in Dark Oak is designed for exterior wood surfaces, providing durable protection against weather while enhancing the natural appearance of the wood with a satin finish. The water-based stain is suitable for all smooth planed exterior wood and is formulated to last up to ten years with low VOC content. It comes in a 250ml can and dries to a hard-wearing finish in about an hour, with a coverage of around 18 square metres per litre. The product does not require a basecoat or primer and is compatible with practical application on clean, dry wood. It is compatible with a variety of exterior woods, but is not suitable for decking. It offers rainproof protection quickly and is BBA approved for its long-term performance.

Usage and application

Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, or old finishes. Lightly sand with 120 grit sandpaper to smooth the surface, then clean with white spirit. Stir the stain thoroughly before use. Test on a small area to check the color. Apply the stain in the direction of the wood grain. Suitable for exterior wood surfaces, not for decking.
